Cranie & Nyatanga to be tried as centre back pairing

    Two new full backs

    Two new central midfielders

    Two new strikers

Youths to be given a few games to see if they can make a difference

Clear out of Kennedy, Dawson, Perkins, Pederson, Dagnall, Scotland to free up wages for the six new signings

Proper passing and pressing game introduced and stop hoofing it long.

Sadly, we'll struggle to get anybody to buy/loan those players mentioned.

I can't see a major clear out taking place until the summer, when we'll probably be in League One.

Surely the club can cancel it though.

Don't think they can, only through injury, we have signed for the season, so effectively he's here until the season's over.

Can't say I want more quality. I'd settle for getting shut of anyone outside of Steele, Melllis, Cranie, Hassell, O'Grady and the young ones (Jennings included) and look for three quality signings. A left back, a striker with pace and a proper defensive midfielder with steel who can tackle.. Can't see any of that happening though.

Agree with your list if you add JOB and Cwyka to it.

I'd go for that, although I haven't given up on McCourt and Cywka and I don't know about Jennings and Nyatanga because I've seen next to nothing of Jennings and nothing at all from Nyatanga.

*Edit* Jim O'Brien too. Maybe he hasn't got the quality, but he's a step up from all the rest of those we're talking about getting rid of and his work rate means in some games he's worth his weight in gold.

You're right about all of those I guess. I suppose I have one eye on the fact that all 3 midfielders are out of contract in the summer so if anyone offered us anything for them I'd probably take it though they all have qualities that might come in handy and certainly in McCourt and Cywka we have valuable impact subs and in JOB effort and application with glimpses of skill.

You're right about Nyatanga and Jennings too though I'd treat the latter almost as an academy kid and ignore his price tag.
