Both equally as bad mindsthi never been to a decent "night club" other than Leadmill, Hacienda or Rock City.
RE: Both equally as bad The thought of a nightclub fills me with horror now, but had some cracking nights in Whispers. Cairo Jacks in Sheffield was good for a one off, but the Bier Keller in Manchester. Scruffiest, dingiest place on earth - but such a laugh.
Whispers there's a blast from the past Went in there once and some bloke threatened to smack me for leeting him come out of the toilets before me - never went back!
what abart that other celebrated barnsley night club - birdcage if you didn't live within 25 yards you were a "foreigner" and deserved a beating.
Whispers regulars Saturday nights, same place, every week. Paul McGugan John MacDonald Darren Foreman Michael Clarke I'm sure they all smoked (blaze)
Stables. Before my time but heard plenty of stories of upstairs toilets overflowing and forming waterfalls dow the steps!
With you on that Most night clubs are ***** - FACT! Based on the fact they think everyone wants dance etc, Stables Rebels in Sheffield Nottingham Rock City were the best. There was one I went to in York on a stag do was good......one room was dance, another indie/rock
RE: Changes Do you remember Tracky Club before it was the Tracky Club though - was the National Reserve (NASH), many a Saturday evening in my youth (well 18, 19) there on the rock night....50p in, 50p a pint!
