Watt may be back in 2006 BARNSLEY have given themselves the option of bringing Steve Watt back to Oakwell in the next transfer window, even though he has made an early return to Chelsea. New talks between Reds chief Andy Ritchie and Stamford Bridge assistant- manager Steve Clarke resulted in an agreement that the defender may have another loan spell after Christmas if it suits both clubs. A groin injury has cut short Watt's stay after a month at Oakwell. Ritchie said: "Steven felt that he was not giving his best because of his injury and that it would be better if he returned to Chelsea to get things sorted, and we agreed with that. "He has been playing in some discomfort. "I have spoken to Steve Clarke, and we have an agremeent to take Steven again in January if we want to and if they can let him out." Reds keeper David Scarsella was sent off in the Reserves game at Bradford aftertaking over from Scott Flinders at half time. Scarsella handled outside the box as Bradford's Nick Smith tried to go past him in the 60th minute. Joe Brown beat stand-in keeper Nathan Jarman with a chip soon afterwards. But with five minutes left Nathan Joynes broke away and notched an equaliser to snatch a 1-1 draw.
When you've already substituted your goalie and the other gets sent off then you have no option, unless you want to keep two keepers on the bench. And Jarman is pretty good between the sticks.
