I've heard a rumour of a reliable source that Jarman is being lined up for a loan move to Bristol city in the transfer window with a view to a perminant deal.

    What's everybody's thoughts?

It'd be nice to see him given a few sub appearances up front instead of stuck out on the wing.  Seen him a handful of times in the reserves up front and he always looks a handful.  First team he's either been put on the wing, only given 5 mins or both.  Hard to make a judgement but I'd lean towards keeping him.

If he's going out on loan I'd like to see him go to a conference club or 3rd div. without a view to get some experience.

Ah, the old 'reliable source' routine.

Why we would we loan out a striker when we're trying to sign one and we only have three at the club at the moment?

It's what a guy on the Bristol city forum was saying. He seems to get most things right though. I can't see us letting him go though, he's a goos prospect for the future.

So, your reliable source is a man off the internet who you don't know? Priceless.

If he 'normally gets things right', you must go on there a hell of a lot? Why?

PS, tell him he's talking sh!te from me.

    at this moment in time

if it means letting a promising kid to go out on loan to allow in a more experienced proven goal scorer, I'll go for that.

We need someone up front to start bobbing them in, those goals in addition to goals currently being scored from midfield will take us from being a possible play off team to a promotion team.

hot prospect - i say send him out

the best way to improve is to gain experience at first team level. then he will be an even better player.</p>

Nothing sarcastic about it, although there is a hint of humour in there...maybe you should take these rumours you're reading with a very large pinch of salt.

If Bristol are ready to take a chance why cant we. Maybe they want him as backup goalkeeper after yesterday in the reserves ? lol. But seriously, it says on official BFC site that he is one of the best ever to come through, why let him go ?

we're not "letting him go" we're sending him out for a while just like

Chopra to barnsley, do you think they were going to actually let him go to us altogether, they were getting him first team experience before he was ready for newcastle.

Well he played the full game at Bradford yesterday. Looked really lively too, had about 7 shots in the first half. Kept dropping off a their defence didnt know what to do. I say we should play him

    Let's not shoot the messenger

He's heard a rumour and passed it on to us. It's up to you whether or not you believe it, but he shouldn't be getting hassle just for telling us what he heard.
