And Ashley Cole not? The FA at its best again.

Regardless of Ashley Cole's tackle, his dissent after the incident was just as bad as Mascherano's.

what got me was the cheek of Mascherano saying he didn't know why he got sent off, how about not leaving the bloody ref alone!!!!

Rather than lambasting them for not charging Cole

I'm just happy that Mascherano has been dealt with. Chelping at the ref has got to be cut out. Hopefully this goes some way towards doing that. I didn't see Cole's indiscretion, so I can't really comment on that.

he did a dangerous tackle on Hutton when they played spurs, and when being booked he turned his back on Mike Reiley, who said to him turn around show some respect which he didn't thats why people are annoyed by it, personally i think he should have been given some sort of punishment for it

    I agree with charging Mascherano

Problem is the lack of consistency - if they did it to everyone the practice would stop sharpish I am sure

"What happened? What happened? Why did you book him? Why?" - Javier Mascherano.

    "Thats a ******* penalty, you ******* *****." - Wayne Rooney.

"You are taking the ******* piss, w*nker." - Steven Gerrard.

All during the same game. Yep, the right man was sent off for dissent. If it had been a Man Utd player at Old Trafford or a Liverpool player at Anfield, would he have done it? Would he b*llocks. Their inconsistencies make them a laughing stock.
