It claims to be legal but I really don't know. I haven't signed up, but Dillinger has. I'm certainly thinking about signing up. There's a massive choice. It's cheap as hell. Tracks are MP3 192kbits and usually cost about 15 cents. So less than a quid for a whole album. Plus you can encode the CD yourself for most tracks and get whatever bitrate MP3 you want or even download the actual wave files. However, you pay for the actual file size you download rather than the track so that would be more expensive. It's not subsciption, so it's free to join and you just put money into an account and download whatever songs you want. For a tenner you could get all the Beatles albums.
It's just this... "You shall not download audio and video files from AllOFMP3.com if the Terms are in conflict with the laws of your country of residence. AllOFMP3.com shall not control actions of its users and the latter bear the sole responsibility for any illegal use." What is this getting at?
RE: It's just this... As far as I know, the Russian copyright law has some loopholes that allow the sale of cheap mp3s legally. There's a conflict of laws situation as US and UK (and other European) courts aren't very keen on this interpretation of the Russian statute, but things always get a bit complicated when we're talking about international laws.
