Felt for him today, was struggling to get back for the 2nd goal, but he had been left exposed for the last 25 minutes and had tackled and tracked well, think he just couldn't get to it that last time. You could tell he was hoping the ball was going to go out of play when it went over him. Got to say he has a history of injuries and I just think he;'s the type of player who's always carring a knock, he's always feeling his hamstring, ankle, back......I know the signs, having knacked my back playing footy. Think at the end of 90 minutes his body just couldn't carry on, gutted for him to be honest because up until then he could have been MOTM. Butterfield???!? Worse game in a reds shirt for a long, long time, couldn't believe he got it.

Overall, the 1st half was the worse performance since the Carling cup exit, I backed the team and the manager after the defeats against Southampton and Fiddlesbrough because I recognised the fact that they were bloody good sides. I could not say the same today, Bristol are poor, poor, poor. I have been a big fan of Doyle too, but I think he does best against teams who are coming on to us and he can break up play, time on the ball like today and he just doesn't have the ability to bring the ball out and create, Perkins to start for me on Tuesday. Don't know what Hill has said about the fans today, but clearly we were poor, and the fans deserve better, I feel his criticism of the fans after the other 2 home game defeats was somewhat justified because any fool could see they were good sides, but today, very poor effort I'm afraid and fans have the right to vent their frustration at that.

Jay was MOTM for me today. He worked like a trooper and agree that he was very unlucky, especially after playing so well and giving his all.

Felt sorry for jaymac trying to contain that monster on his own.
