Jay - Slow Firefox Start-up. Think I've found a solution.

    Home Page:
    Start Firefox and go to Tools Menu/Option/Advanced/Network/Settings.</p>

    Select Manual Proxy configuration. Type the following
    </p>

    In the Http box 127.0.0.1</p>

    In the port box 0 </p>

    Tick 'use this proxy server for all protocols'</p>

    Click ok and then ok again and re-start Firefox.</p>

    </p>

    Hopefully that should fix it.
