    Because he knows full well that the club would never ever, ever sign Jay Spearing. And is looking to wind people up by arguing the merits of such a signing, even when he himself does not believe what he is arguing for.

    Not at all, he was let go by Bolton for a reason. If a player is deemed to have been not good enough for Bolton then they're certainly not good enough for us.

    Seen lots of Bolton in the past 12 months, and he wasn't liked at all by the Bolton fans. Many put his performances last year(or lack of) as a big part of the reason they went down, as well as the debt they have(which his massive wages contributed to, he was still on Premier League level wages apparently).

    Not a player I'd like to see here. David Wheater however, I'd have like a shot(but know for a fact we can't get anywhere near the wage he gets at Bolton)...

    I'm disgusted in some of the wages that I have been told they pay. Some of them were only signed at the beginning of last season, when the club were supposedly in mega deep ****.

    One player was offered a deal at Oakwell, and didn't even come in to discuss it as Bolton absolutely blew us out of the water...

    Given your reasoning BFC would never sign any players , most of ours have been at other clubs and not made the grade there, yet we take them and improve them.. I was under the impression that was part of the remit !
