RE: Yep, Bye bye JCR.......... Wel struggle to get half what reading previously offered. Very dissapointed with JCR this season, to me his hearts not in it, he's not been the same since transfer rumours. it pains me to say it but I'd sooner see devaney, he's one of the most inconsistent reds players iv ever seen but the lad gives 110%!
Should never have started, head not right, fitness not right, Robins has to hold his hand up, Anderson should have started.
If the rumours of the last couple of weeks are true, then JCR was given a massive opporunity to prove yesterday that he had the attitude and detrmination to fight for his place in the side. Personally I think he's a very very talented player and we need to do all we can to help him return to the form of 2008. I think that was Robins' plan - back him with a starting place and hope he's learned. What he saw instead was the lazy, ineffective JCR we've seen for most of 2009, so he quite rightly took him off. Rather than be grateful for his chance, and fighting to show he can contribute to Robins' side, he got the monk on. We don't need that here, and I'd be surprised if he gets another chance any time soon - his manager stuck his neck out and gave him a chance to prove himself and he's thrown it back in his face with that little performance. Can't blame Robins for giving him the chance, but if he's not willing to take it then we should cash in - unfortunately I don't see too many sides jumping to take him come January on his form this year. Maybe he could do with a run in the reserves, but for some crazy reason we dispensed with that side. Funniest thing I heard at the game yesterday - someone asked what the circles on the pitch were all about. Someone behind me piped up with "they're for JCR to run round in..."
should be fined and forced to apologise to the supporters who had paid to watch a game of football not a petulant little child sulking
RE: should be fined and forced to apologise to the supporters hasn't this been the case with other clubs hes played for ?
Never seen a winger pick the ball up go back 20 yrds nt so many times then pass another 10 back to shotton Waster get rid
Maybe another one who liked it better when his place was more or less guaranteed and he could play one decent game in two and get away with it. Now there's competition and he needs to show some character he can't do it. That said I would like him to come back to his best here but I just can't see it happening cos he won't get a 5 game run to build up his form & fitness.
