What the hell is going on? If he plays any deeper he'll be in the sticks. Anderson looks hacked off because JCR is all over the area he;s supposed to be in ..... shocking. For 10 mins when we started letting other players have a bit of the ball, we looked like we might do something. I'm not knocking JCR, but he can't be the start the middle & the end for 90 minutes. (
Central midfielders in the first half were too far up the pitch when Ipswich were attacking and left a large space into which Stead and Walters could drop into. Second half Butterfield and Anderson kept switching virtually snuffed them out as one satwhen the other went forward.</p>
RE: Central midfielders in the first half were too far up the pitch I agree, we were alot better in midfield 2nd half. I don't like to criticise players, but to me LEon doesn't offer enough - perhaps he would in a Man Utd midfield, but he's a luxury player.
