    I hear from a Blades work mate that they have signed (or are signing) JCR from Notts Co.
    As I said the other week I wouldn't have minded him back for us but the general consensus on here was a definite no.

    Don't think he's anywhere near the player we sold to Bristol City, getting on in years now. If that's the sort of player Sheff U are targeting then I don't think they'll be as much of a runaway favourite as a lot of people are making out.

    I haven't seen any League 1 football this season (with the exception of some of the standard we've played) but have taken note of the play off's since our relegation was confirmed. Rotherham seem to play a very pacey style like we played with Shuker, Devanney and Hayes when we were last in L1. I hope this style is adopted this coming season with some good flowing attacking football. For that reason, I don't think JCR would have been a suitable target for us. He's getting on a bit now and surely will lose if not already lost his pace.

    How's this happened I didn't think you could sign players until last week in July ? Must be because they've known which league they'll be in next season since January eh wonder how long they've had their season ticket money in

    He not their type of player at all & they will be moaning about him on radio de da within 5 games. I think we got his best football out of him.

    We can and we have several times.

    There's no rush to sign players is there? After all they can't play until August. No point jumping the gun and signing has been players for the sake of it, like Campbell Ryce.

    Will play a few games then disappear for a couple of months before being released by mutual consent, I really hope he is the claibre of player they are looking at all summer
