And passing the onto the wing to Hassell when were desperate at the end of the game, the end product is a cross into the stands.
Can anyone understand this tactic ?

i noticed that, surely thats colace or anderson's position, jcr should be the outlet on the wing.

I'm really pleased with our performance against Reading

ok, we lost one nil, but we have lost one nil to the best footballing team in the division and only lost by the one goal from a mistake by a player (Sousa) that otherwise didn't put a foot wrong all the rest of the match

I thought Cureton looked very sharp and looked more lively round the box than dare I say it Hume used to
However, the delivery to the forwards was poor especially from Whalley who produced nothing all match. El Haimour is a much better player

JCR is more effective running at defences from the middle of midfield and causes much more panic in the opposition defences when he does this

Odejayi should not play for us again

Colace and De Silva looked class in midfield

Hassel is a good defender but cannot pass a ball so why give him the task of sending another poor cross into the box like all the other poor crosses into the box

Overall, on that showing, with all the effort that was put in, we should be ok this season

Thats very controversail people wanted him out of midfield because of his distribution, I'd put him back in midfield and go 4-3-3 and have Macken down the middle with JCR and Cureton playing off him.

Hassell's distribution is generally poor. As a defender he'll back track from the half way line instead of getting in a tackle. Not up to Championship standard imho.
