A few people who sit behind me were criticising him today for being lazy. They do every week. My mind boggles when I hear it. They spout other ***** too.

Best attacking player we have had for ages, and he works his socks off. I can't see anything else, so for someone else (who sits just behind me, so sees the same things) to think he is lazy really is just amazing. Gobsmacked at times. His only fault is he doesn't release the ball early enough.

put a good amount of effort in sporadically today.

my favourite player but he doesn't half frustrate at times.

would be good to know the reasons for the strange (and ineffective) change of tactics that has seen him move form being fantastic on the wing to being lost at times all over the park

Can't blame JCR for being played in the middle though, and he does still do a good job. I think the idea is to get him more central so he can be the creative midfielder and maybe replace Howards goals, which he has to some extent. But it leaves us with nowt wide, especially while Devaney is out. Hopefully when everyone is fit again we will be back to seeing him get at fullbacks. He can't play centrally with Anderson, Colace and Hassell available.

    Unfortunately

today he was crap. He tried to play for Leon, Anderson and Devaney. Problem was Devey tried to use non-midfielders in midfielders roles. Why he didn't start with both Heslop and Butterfield, and if they were struggling, then change it. As for Oddjob, a player who knows he's on the way out, why even give him a place on the bench.
Sorry performance against a team at the bottom of the league, who incidently have a superior away record to us.
