Scared us shitless until we realised that his crosses hit the first man, or the back of the stand - and that he scored in one match over the whole of last season.

AND the fact he left Rotherham because he hated it up North.

    Sam Togwell - defensive midfielder.
    JCR - attacking winger.

Don't see how they can be compared. I don't doubt he might be a decent player, but when you combine:
    - His end product.
    - His problems up north.
    - The cost being well over £250k if he comes.

    I don't think he's worth it.

    A replacement winger?

Well Shuker's better than Campbell-Ryce - if we're stepping backwards like that, why bother letting Shuker go in the first place?

Go for Wes Hoolahan from Livingston

If his move to Blackpool falls through. Worth pushing the boat out for.

    Id go for

Eddie Lewis from Leeds, left sided though, great crosser and on set pieces, and we've not got a Yank as yet.

So it could have been just one Southend fan

And that could have been their equivalent of Young Nudger.
