Hill drops Wiseman (thank ****) brings in RNL for Done and Busacky for Dawson. So next move for us? Let's get on McNulty's back.

I agree, he's not the best. HOWEVER. If he gets a run in the side he will be better than Wiseman as he can jump and read the game. His distribution is poor at times and personally I would play Hassell before him.

Still got to be a better bet than Wiseman.

Yes we do need another (2?) centre half. Got to make the best of a bad job at the moment. You have to admit, we were better at the back tonight though.

Hill learned from the Steele/Wiseman situations. Now he's a Sir Bobby in place of McNulty away from a decent looking defence.

Or Hassell at RB and Crainie in the centre?

Once the penny drops in Hills mind re: Hassell the defence will be better. I'm not holding my breath though.

I don't know, he pulled Wiseman from CB to RB on saturday and dropped him completely for tonight, which I didn't expect,
so hopefully things could be moving on that front too.

We've only conceded from set pieces in the last two games which are the teams responsibility and with a bit of work we should be able to cut that out. I personally don't have too much of a problem with the defence. If you take away the Brighton result there would only be 3 teams in the league that have conceded less than us.

I think it's personal with Bobby because there is no footballing reason for him to not even be in the squad.

If you took every teams worse score away how would we be fixed? That seems fairer.

But i dont agree with everyone that he's our savior, and that our performances would improve with him in the team.

If Hassell was new to the club and in the team, he would be getting as much stick as the rest of the players are getting. Its only because hes been here years that people feel so strongly about him being left out. If he does get back in, it wont be long before everyone is crying out for him to be dropped.

Folks go over the top with certain players criticising or praising, you should know that.

I'm not disagreeing with you, what I am saying is that Hill has drawn a line under his career as a defender for reasons away from football and when he is our most experienced defender and no worse than some first choice players I think Hill is being stubborn and foolish.
