As to how we'll fair next season, Why can't we just say F U C K O F F they're not for sale and get on with building a team around them, and if they want to leave say no sorry your sign up to us for next season and we need you you're going nowhere get your head down and get on with it otherwise no one will want you next season when you can move on, just take the hit on the transfer fee it could be the only chance we have of going back up and if we do sell it'll be for peanuts so just make a statement of intent
What money season ticket money sponsorship money football league money ? We can pay their wages so why don't we, just have some faking balls for once and have a go a achieving something other then survival
But you're the bloke who said you'd be happy to see us forever in League One, challenging for - but failing in - the playoffs.
I'm hopeful we'll be able to keep some of them. For me I'd try and keep in order: 1: O'Grady - scored 15 goals in a ***** team at a higher level, while half the time playing on the wing with no support or supply. With a half decent team he could get 20 in league 1 I reckon. 2. Jennings - Potential to rip league 1 apart. Could get a huge fee for him if he develops. 3. Steele - We won't get a better keeper than him. One of the few players that actually cares. Kept us in more matches than anyone else. Will be one of the best in the league next season. 4. Cranie - Good CB, but not as good as some make out I think. Relegated with 2 teams now, but still has plenty to offer in a partnership IMO.
Exactly. I'd not be confident those brought in to replace them would be as good, so i'd rather have them all for the full season and risk losing them all for nothing but with a much better chance of being promoted and maybe some will resign anyway.
