If I refused to do my job, my employer would sack me and/or not pay me. Hope he's getting his wages docked at least Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Footballers have got away with having these tantrums for too long so I hope that WBA take a tough stance and teach him and his parasite agent a lesson.
I understand what you're saying. Fair play to him for standing up to one of the 'bigger' clubs, an all that. Trouble is he's now got an unhappy, and potentially disruptive player 'rotting' in their reserves, or playing halfheartedly, when he could've had well over £20 million in the clubs coffers instead. Berahino will have eighteen months left on his contract, come January, and he'll probably end up going for around the same fee as what has been mentioned today.
Clubs can't just keep caving in to players, somebody has to take a stand. And if other clubs looked at the player and said 'if he can behave like this at his current club, what's to stop him doing it to us so I think we'll not bother and look elsewhere' then it might stop this poison in the game. They're in a very privileged position with long lucrative contracts and they can't have it both ways.
