Oldham boss Ronnie Moore is lining up a swoop fo veteran midfielder Jim Magilton. Daily Star Think he could do a job for us for the rest of the season
RE: Kevin Horlock back at Ipswich I thought that radio said this morning he had extended the loan for another month?
From SKY Sports: Ipswich Town boss Joe Royle has confirmed that Doncaster Rovers want striker Kevin Horlock on a permanent basis. The 33-year-old has returned to Portman Road after a month-long loan spell with the League One club, but Royle confirmed that Donny want to seal a permanent move for the former Manchester City and West Ham United hit-man. "Kevin is back with us at the moment, but Doncaster are keen to take him on a permanent deal," Royle told Ipswich's official website. "He has done well there and I think talks are going on between Kevin and the club."
RE: From SKY Sports: Fair enough, lets get him in then. It was said last week that burns wages were available for a replacement. Ritchie obviously likes him because he asked before he went to donny. Lets get a move on before donny get him again.
Docherty would be an excellent signing and we should be hell bent on getting him in for next season i reckon. i'd also try and get horlock/magilton in on loan for rest of year with a view to next season - burns' move must have freed the wage kitty up.
His loss Stiil , he can always play his football in a new 10 000 all seater stadium next season !! In the meantime , we'll have to make do with trips to the Stadium Of Light and Molyneux !!!
