Should have kept it buttoned after a performance like that.

Awkward situation. Can imagine the 10 players are just as pissed off as the fans after having to play a man short for so long

I remember him getting booed once, not too long after he signed for us. He'd played in a poor cross and the frustration of that particular game in general (not specifically Jim's performance) caused our fans to boo. Jim turned around to the Ponte end and shouted, f**k off. So it's no surprise to me that he's got frustrated today also.

Now whilst I'm not condoning the actions which they've described on there, 'grabbing a fan by the face (ableit the age of said fan seems to range from 15 to 50 in a matter of minutes, which leaves me to question it's accuracy), I have never understood why people find it acceptable to shout abusive language at footballers, something they wouldn't do anywhere else in everyday life?

Admittedly, I've done the same in the past, I often do, so call me a hypocrit if you like. But Jim is only human at the end of the day, if someone was yelling at me that I'm **** at my job and that I'm a ****er, then I'd want to have words with them. Jim's the sort that runs his nackers off, you can understand his frustration.

Wouldn't that be classed as inciting the crowd? I always wanted to give him a thump for doing that.

Scored 3 goals in the 2 games prior to that one. Good goals, too.

Yeah in the past few weeks he's quickly closing the gap on the little amount of goals he scored for us over many seasons.

    Oh dear

I never though Jim had it in him, came across as a mild mannered type to me. Maybe the Cov fans are harder to please and a bit more vociferous than our lot. Still inexcusable though.
