He was going to come back on loan earlier this season. Didn't materialise for whatever reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Agreed, good luck Jim, Always liked him whilst at the same time aware of his limitations. A true 100% and apparently a really guy
I suspect that he has been out of favour for some time hence the loan to Scunny. A wholehearted player who will, not have too, much difficulty finding a new club so long as his wage demands are realistic.
good luck to him. i don't think he'd get near our first team tbh, but what what he lacked in ability he made up in effort. always 100%
There'll be uproar on the Coventry board, as they cite letting him go out on loan was the reason for their collapse. Apparently he had a huge fall out with Mowbray and was immediately shipped out on loan, and then Coventry went down the plug hole.
I think he would slot into this team very nicely, trouble is this team has only 3 more games to play at most before it will be dismantled.
Really? He always shone when we were $hit, because he was the only who tried. When we picked up and the others raised their game, he just went back to looking bang average for me. Would be going backwards IMO..
Simple observation - since his move to Scunny, Coventry fell apart & Scunny shot up the league. May be just a coincidence. Good bloke, decent player but we have moved on now.
He's been injured and missed the 6 wins in a row. Did Keith sign him for you? Would he have him at Dale? Or most likely going to join Scunny.
Thought he was really good for us but wouldn't want him back. Be plenty of players available who are younger, cheaper, less injury prone, have a better scoring/assists record etc.
Terrific lad and a top end L1 player. Still lives in tarn. I always liked him. Good luck to Jim in his next move. Rochdale would be a good shout unless Scunny want to take him permanently.
Absolute 100% grafter..sometimes his ambition is greater than his skill level though. If you get him tell Keith not to let him take corners though...the joke on here was if he raised his left arm prior to taking it it meant he wouldn't beat the first man...right arm...out for a throw on the far side...both arms...goalies ball!!
