    Speaking to the world’s press earlier, Jimmy said “the fans deserve a real, proper belly laugh, and I’m the man/woman to make it all come true. Everyone deserves a laugh and if Sir Cliff can do it at Wimbledon then I can do it in the Pointy End”. An unnamed club spokesman said “ we welcome Jimmy with open arms and pray that he is our Salvation”. It is rumoured Jimmy is on a 3 day contract with sign on fees downstream if he gets poached by bigger clubs like Boston or Wootton Bassett.

    There's a blast from the past Jimmy Clitheroe...I've got his autograph some where in the loft from when he was appearing in Great Yarmouth in the early 60s
