I've just heard of the death of Jimmy Rae. Jimmy was a friend and colleague, a great Barnsley fan (season ticket in East Stand Upper) and a fine representative of his community on Barnsley Council. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Jimmy.
I didn't know him, but I know their George and his family and understood Jimmy was very ill. Best wishes to them at this sad time. RIP

I went through school with Jimmy and knew him well, He was a gentleman and a fine representative of Barnsley. He was a big fan of Barnsley fc and scotland where his family originate from, a sad loss Rest in peace jim.
