May be old news this (dated Wednesday), but allegedly he refused to play for FC Eindhoven the other night in a friendly with PSV, over his desires to leave. His coach has said that he is "no longer welcome" at FC Eindhoven and suggests that he has bad people around him (meaning his agent) who aren't trying to progress his career. http://m.soccernews.nl/news/362462/Grillige_Belg_niet_langer_welkom_bij_Nederlandse_club Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I think we'll sign him. It'll be similar to the Bradshaw deal. He'll end up putting a transfer request in which brings the asking price down. We're not a million miles away for agreeing a fee so reckon that'll push the deal through.
Do we really want a player that throws his toys out when he doesn't get his own way? There's a team spirit to to conserve at oakwell so not sure whether he'll fit in IMO.
Didn't Bradshaw put in transfer request at his previous club? Didn't John Stones ask to leave Everton last year? All part of football unfortunately. If we sign him and he does well no one will care Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's not the same as refusing to play but you're right that it seems to be the way with football these days, sadly it always seems to be agents at the root of the issue.
He was asked if he knew anything and IIRC it was along the lines of 'No idea whats going on'. Was just a bit lacking in either confirming or denying anything was happening.
