Good. Seems to fit in with what we're trying to achieve. Wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't the last foreign lad walking through those doors.

Seems we've beat off Man City and several Spanish clubs https://www.voetbalkrant.com/nl/nieuws/lees/2016-07-12/jinty-caenepeel-is-op-weg-naar-barnsley-fc
Jinty Caenepeel has a few weeks to wait, but a breakthrough in its file transfer is still a fact. The 19 year old striker is on his way to England. Last Wednesday we reported all that Barnsley FC officially launched its bid to FC Eindhoven. (Read more about it here) now seems to attract the newcomer in the English Championship at the longest end. Caenepeel flew this morning at 7 am towards the county of South Yorkshire to go visit the club. If Barnsley Eindhoven and get out, he shall immediately also medical tests. Meanwhile hooked FK Ufa that long in pole position was for the youth product AA Gent away. The asking price that hovers above 500,000 euros, the Russian first division startled like few other interested clubs off. The Belgians and even Man City Different teams came knocking in recent weeks for the promising winger from Ostend. From Belgium stakes KV Oostende, Sporting Lokeren and STVV their lights, but otherwise well informed AZ, NEC, some Spanish teams and Manchester City. The club of Kevin De Bruyne and Vincent Kompany was willing to fork out 350,000 euros for Caenepeel to lend him on again. As owner of FC Eindhoven did not respond.
I bet they're getting confused with Burnley. Lad probably thinks he's headed for the Prem. Obviously he is, but not until season after next....
Well it's pretty hard not to be excited watching the clips of him. Loads of pace, good skills, can use both feet and an eye for goal. Looks like he can play as a striker, right sided forward player or a winger. Will be interesting to see how he fits in, maybe as an out and out right winger? Would certainly give some defences nightmares with him and Hammill on either side.
If they're good that's all well and good. However, I love having a core team of British lads. Can't see how Man City or Chelsea fans get much pleasure out of watching a team of foreign all-stars. Jinty looks like a very astute signing at first glance, and I'm really glad we've taken a gamble on him. He certainly looks to have a great pedigree for one so young. However, the realist in my says that for every De Zeeuw, Vaz Te or Ferenci, we've had three or four Christiansens, Krizans, Sands and Tinklers. Fingers crossed Jinty will be in the former category.
"Christiansens, Krizans, Sands and Tinklers" i quite liked Krizan and Tinkler .... could have gone with the likes of Mostto, O'Neil Thompson or El Haimour who were much worse instead
Both Dutch Carel Van der Velden is currently the owner and founder of Artists Square, a company that organizes events and Artists supplies for parties and celebrations. Strange what ex footballers end up doing. I find it endlessly fascinating!
