24% strike rate this season (32 wins from 134 races). However he usually returns a loss from backing all his rides at level stakes, which is no doubt largely attributable to riding a lot of hotpot favourites for the Henderson stable. Fine horseman though.
Lady Kaht and I were at Cheltenham six years ago this Sunday when he rode Sprinter Sacre to an emotional comeback victory in the Schloer Chase. Second most memorable day I've had on a racecourse.
He was on the favourite for a hurdle race on Sunday at Sandown. It was out the back and never looked like winning. Maybe sour grapes but he didn't look like he was trying at all.
I think he's competent but then many are. The ones I like are Blackmore, Frost, J Bowen, Skelton, Slevin, Hughes and probably one or two more I've forgotten
I'm blinded by trainers when it comes to both codes. I've mentioned it before but I become a bit of a snob. I back the best trainer, then owners, then jockey's. I have divisions of jockey's too.
Got to be horse form for me. So if De Boinville is on the horse I fancy I'd back it rather than be put off by him. It's rare that a jockey booking completely puts me off...
Me bad ,both lost ,enjoyed reading the comments about other jockeys though, another 15 quid I won’t see again
Me and Laura have £60 each a weekend after everything's paid out n groceries. I usually have £30 bets £20 cans and £10 takeaway. If we've got owt planned I just get my cans. Say for instance we want to go out round village we'll put our money together. It's harder to do what you want when you've rent, bills, travel and a child. Makes it sweeter when you do win though.
