What a fight that is going to be. Hopkins yet again opens his gob and then snubs the chance. This is going to be amazing (Y) (Y) (Y)

Told you months ago that this was the fight that would happen, Calzaghe had no chance of fighting Hopkins, B-Hop is looking to get a couple of easy fights for the money.

Wants to face over the hill Roy Jones Junior instead apparently. I thought he was going to give Joe a free facelift? Hopkins has no balls for ducking this fight. He would have made way more money than Joe and had home advantage.

    Reality check please!

Firstly, the Woods V's Calzaghe fight isn't even a done deal yet there just in early talks, there not even as advanced as Haye V's Macca.

Secondly, who are you to call Hopkins a ducker looking for a couple of easy fights? Just remember Frank Warren is Calzaghe's promoter, and Frank Warren fails to deliver his fighters the big fights they crave. For God sake Calzaghe is 35 now and should have been taken off to America 4 years ago. Ask Ricky Hatton about Frank Warren, there's no way Ricky would be fighting Mayweather in 3 weeks if he'd stayed with him.

I would suggest Warren won't put his money where his mouth is and Calzaghe will end up fighting a Clinton Woods who's defended his only light heavyweight title a staggering 4 times!

Just how many times should Woods have defended it then?

How many times has Hatton defendedhis only title ( IBO FFS).
Woods has not held the title as long as Calzaghe, but has defended it when able to. Taking on the Mandatory challengers as well.

Will the extra weight slow calzaghe down do ya think?

After all, his fast hands are why he's been at the top for over 10 years, it will be interesting thats for sure. (chinny)

Should not really slow his hand speed

but it could slow him around the ring.
Calzaghe has been very fortunate not to get pulled more for slapping with the inside of the glove, he does this quite often, he never seems to get pulled for it tho`.
Been a great champion and deserves a big pay day. B-Hop was ever going to fight him, neither is Roy Jones.
I would like to see Joe against Froch, just to see him shut Froch up, he annoys me.
