Another one where it hasn’t worked for him at Ipswich but scored bagful of goals for Wimbledon in League 1 & 2. Wouldn’t mind him signing at all.
I actually think I'd prefer Pigott to Norwood. I'd be happy with both though, two proven goalscorers at this level. It would certainly give us a few options and add some much needed depth in attack.
https://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=68946&season_id=154 22 games without a goal. If we wanted that we'd have done more to keep hold of Victor.
At this level it's not that bad: 2 in 22 20 in 45 7 in 34 15 in 40 5 in 18 3 seasons better than 1 in 3. Better than 1 in 2 in 18/19.
He started at Charlton anyway FFS, must be cr@.p if he couldn't get into the Chelsea/Arsenal academy........is what I would say if I were from somewhere with a WF postcode.
Not to me my friend , we might not have asked about any of them, rumours , gossip & agents plus lazy journalism , good rule of thumb is to wait for official club statements but I do agree with you that they will be trying ,especially as our new HC has said that the forward department needs looking at
Think positive! If Pigott has gone to Portsmouth, we have a better chance of getting George Hirst. Hmmm! I know which one I would prefer, especially if Norwood has failed his medical - just speculation.
