Fastly becoming one of my favourite players. Always showing for the ball. Putting 100% in every game. For me he is better than Scowen bur he's just missing a goal

Played well today. Hammill shook his head when he was announced as MOTM though. Maybe he was just shaking away the rain water off his long locks.

Can't agree with that. He did well second half but he will not be the player who either runs the show or glues it all together.

Can't imagine him ever scoring, but that's not why he's in the team.

I like williams hes a great player and prospect but i prefer him holding within 451. I prefer moncur potts n mcgeehan in middle on a 442.
I also prefer pearson in a 442 at LB than Fryers although Fryers did have a good game today. I think Pearson offers more defensive qualities from set pieces.

I suppose when it doesnt work your always thinking about what ifs and of course nobody knows what the outcome would b with a diff starting lineup.

Williams had a right go at Hammill near the end (wrongly in my opinion). Hope it's just heat of the moment stuff born of frustration.

Im in ponty and on the corner they scored i saw a player running like hell from the back post area to try n make the header that caused damage, havent seen it back but it was a lapse in concentration that cist us

He was good for 70mins our central midfield was then babber for the last 20. He needs to do the simple things better like laying off the ball quicker and finding the easy pass after he's done all the hard work.

Agree. In fact Im sure Potts was being readied to come on, presumably for McGeehan who was knackered, when Jackson had to go off and our last substitution was taken out of our hands.

I'm a big fan of Williams as well and I think he's been getting better every week. He is clever with his timing of challenges and the way he can nick the ball and if he can get stronger and improve his pass selection then he'll be a very good player.

I thought him and McGeehan looked like a solid partnership and it worked well today in a 4-4-2 but I'm sure many will disagree.

LOL. He will be playing in the premiership regularly in 2 years. Very good loan signing.

I agree they did their bit well. The things we lacked in a 4-4-2 was that Barnes had more defensive duties & struggled to get forward, unlike Hammill on the other wing, who had a superb game in my book. Sadly the two up top failed to get the better of two quality centre backs & the conditions.
