    does this mean he can play for them even though he has a 12 match ban? If so does the ban still take effect when he moves back to England? Seems wrong if you ask me, either for him to be able to play elsewhere whilst under a ban or to another club to serve out the ban.

    It is an FA ban so he will sit it out next time he is in England. I think.
