    Piers Morgan is a t**t but I have respect for Joey Barton.

    He was the only footballer willing to be interviewed on television for the programme about gay footballers.

    I think Joey Barton's passion is sometimes misconstrued as him being a bit of a tw*t.

    Tries to come across as slightly more intelligent than he actually is, but he's not thick by any stretch. Wouldn't be surprise if he went down a political route after football, a Question Time appearance does seem a bit random though!

    and yeah I know he punched the living daylights out of some bloke but there are two sides to every story. I know a kid who got locked up for 6 months years ago for cracking someone in town, I'd put it down to implosive anger as he was not the type for fighting but all the evidence pointed to him going a bit over a top - all over a bird as well.
