Not sure of the circumstances, but I'm shocked by this news. A familiar name from my Panini sticker days.

He was on fire when Oxford beat us 5-1 after we'd been promoted to the Premier League.

Such sad news. Didn't really work out for him at West Ham, but he was a legend at Oxford. RIP Joey Beauchamp

Wow, a name that brings back memories of Championship Manager for me.
Talk of Mental health issues, horrible illnesses that take too many too young. RIP Joey.

Genuinely gutted. A name I associate completely with Oxford from growing up as a kid. He was a brilliant footballer!

He was one of very few opposition players I used to love, despite them having no association with us.

    RIP Joey!

Crikey that’s tragic. He absolutely ripped us to shreds in that 5-1 defeat following our promotion to the Prem. Quality footballer. 50 is no age…..RIP

He was really a home bird. He never settled anywhere but Oxford.

    RIP fella.

I'd put him in the same catagory as David Oldfield (Leicester) John Spencer (QPR) Clive Mendonca (Grimsby) etc who always had a blinder against us.

Remember him tearing us apart in the 5-1 defeat at the old Manor Ground against Oxford.
Brilliant footballer gone too soon, RIP Joey.
