John Dennis is it normal practice for your drivers to use their mobiles while driving?

    Why shouldn't he post that?

People who drive with their phone in their hand should be banned from driving for life. His point, if true, is extremely valid.

I remember once I was in the car with my family and an oil tanker came careering round a hill bend half on the wrong side of the road, with the driver on the phone. My mum thankfully is an excellent driver and always very alert and managed to swerve out of the way.

    Quite frankly it's disgraceful.

Agreed. If JD reads this board at all it is an excellent way of communicating a problem to him that needs sorting.

You're only saying that because she reads the board

You told me on MSN she's a **** driver, like my mum.

Where as I am a perfect driver and rider. Never make any mistakes me, oh aye.

It should also be an offence to smoke whilst at the wheel

    agreed

if eating is, drinking is, using a mobile phone is then smoking just has to be.
