Just intrigued if anybody knows him or remembers him. I'm just about to sign him for our next event in July. Although he's still massive, I'm just doing a straw poll to see if anybody actually knows superstar DJs anymore.

To me, he's a legend, but I'm a person who's into it, so to speak.

You may not get many bites in here mate but yes he's a cool guy. Met him at Riverside Newcastle. He's alright, cool enough. He's no Jeff Mills though is he.

Think so. Isn't he the brother of George Digweed, world clay pigeon shooting legend? ;-)

Yes. But only because a girl I knew named one of her cats Digweed. She named the other Sasha, who I believe is another DJ. That represents the sum total of everything I know about dance music.

DJ John Digweed yes. Seen him a few time back in the Gatecrasher days. He's still around.

He used to play together with Digweed quite a lot. My wife is called Sasha, and I'm John. When we got married, some of my mates made a card "For John and Sasha", with a picture of Sasha and Digweed. It was really funny, honest.

He takes you on a journey that never gets anywhere. Boring. Mate once gave him a vengaboys record to sign and he signed what we thought said balloons. In the light you could see it said ******! Lol

Think id rather have a couple of hours kip than listen to his sets.

He's made £80m from DJing, so I suppose he must have a following; his last CD sold out before it got released.

    Still plays Tomorrowland

I'd class him as an EDM legend, technically brilliant, not my bag but respect, he should pack your gig out mate, bit of a coup, good work.

    Re: Still plays Tomorrowland

    Am I missing something here?
Doesn't a dj play records and talk a bit inbetween... "that was the fabulous New Seekers with their latest hit 'I'd like to teach the world to sing' and now pop pickers it's Middle of the Road with 'Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep'.
What's so f.uckin earth shattering and money making about that?

Yoh! M.C. Badger check out Tiesto Ardegio for strings on YouTube. I listen to these beats when chilling with my holmies, running with my possie or cutting some shapes with my crew. His style is somewhat reminiscent of a young Jimmy Young. I particularly dig the deep meaningful thought provoking lyrics. This D.J. Is sick man! as the younger members of the Ponty Massif might say. Sorry tried to post a link but haven't a scooby doo how to do it. Positive Vibes Man

Don't call him EDM mate, you'd get lynched!

EDM is credited to the likes of Avicii, Guetta and the american crowd. Although it is Electronic Dance Music the terms been taking over by the commercial, teeny bopper cult in the US.

Hopefully I find out on Tuesday/Wednesday if we have him signed up. I'll be DJing, which I suppose is like playing football with Messi. I can guarantee that if anybody is into dance music to come along, it'll be a great night of music.
