Benin international John Glele is hopeful of sealing a move to Barnsley. The left-back spent last season playing in Cyprus' top-flight with APEP Pisilia. The 23-year-old, who began his career with Guingamp, had short spells with Amiens, ASM Belfort and Scottish minnows Cowdenbeath before joining Pisilia. France-born Glele, who made his international debut for Benin earlier this year, is now training with Barnsley and is hopeful of sealing a move to England. "I am here to try and earn the right to play for this club," he told skysports.com. "I will do all I can to earn a place and impress."
