he was our second top scorer last season i think, his job is more of a target man like Peter Crouch to flcik the ball on for our strikers.
Am not his biggest fan, think he is living on past glories. Cant see him getting double figures this season.
2nd top scorer last season ? not exactly a claim to fame for one of our so called best players, i just think he should come out of the comfort zone and do some work in the box.
Macken place in the seems guaranteed he needs Odejayi to put pressure on his place and from brief look at Odejayi he deserves a start.
RE: What did Odejayi do to warrant a starting place? He was more effective at winning the ball than Macken but that didn't take much beating. At the moment we look weak up front someone has to hit form soon.
RE: What did Odejayi do to warrant a starting place? Tha what? There is absolutely no comparison between Macken and Odejayi It never ceases to amaze me that people come on here and try and defend him Just accept it - he is ****
RE: What did Odejayi do to warrant a starting place? You could be right but just because Macken does some neat work with ball and it all looks fancy ( and don't get me wrong I like Macken) should guarentee him his place. He's there to score and create goals and I can't see that happening!
Read this bit again mate "He's there to score and create goals and I can't see that happening!" Then you say you want Oddjob in the team. If you had said give Mostto a go, well I could just about accept that one, but Odejayi has not scored in 43 or is it 44 of his appearances in the Red shirt.
RE: Read this bit again mate I'm all for giving Mostto a go but that isn't going to happen, Odejayi is the man for the Birmingham game.
Re: John Macken double figures Does double figures mean 10? who will score the other 50 goals to give us a chance, thats only if we dont let 90 goals in.
