John McDonald getting the winner at Blackburn

    Anyone remember this from the 80s. It was my only trip to Ewood Park. I was only young but i remember they had a stand closed as it had been condemned. 1-0 I think it finished. Can't remember if John Mc was that good. Remember he scored a few goals though.

    I remember getting hammered at Blackburn, courtesy of George Courtney

    I have never heard such a large, coordinated, and passionate rendition of "YOU BLACK B@ST@RD"

    He was in tears.

    MY only visit there was a night match years ago, King Ronnie got the winner.

    Been a few times to Ewood Park but best remember an 18 year old David Hirst getting a brace in a 3-0 win nov `85

    It was indeed, started on the bench, saville I think got the other up there end.. Rammell came off the bench and glanced a free kick home in front of our end in the last minute. Good day out that

    Thought so. They had a good team in that era and ways brought loads t'Well

    Garner, Brotherstone etc.
