But will be loaned out once the emergency window reopens....

    Then signed in the summer.

Don't want him on loan. What's the point?

Doubt he'll sign in the summer considering he's just signed a new deal at Blackburn.

They obviously rate him, so no chance of getting him permanently.

A loan fair enough but surely if Blackburn wanted rid in the summer, they wouldn't have offered him a new contract?

I'd be disappointed if we got another midfielder on loan.

He's a nippy right winger. I'd take him in an instant. What other option do we have there, after Jennings?

Oh yeh I know and I'm just playing devils advocate.

By the sounds of it, he's gonna join a league 1 club next week (according to his interview on the Blackburn website after signing his new deal)

Didn't realise he was a winger.

I think he's capable of playing all across midfield, but in the clips I've seen of him on loan, he was quality on the right.

I was under the impression he was a number 10. A few goals I've seen him score are him coming in slightly from the left.

He may be better than Jennings but I personally find these loan signings a bit underwhelming. I'd have rather us keep RNL. Even young Dom Mchale who looked promising versus Crewe.

Pearson is a different matter because we were desperate for him. Waring I could take or leave and Kiwomya I'm just not taking to.

As much I rate Reuben, and I really do, I think he needed a fresh start. As for McHale, is he even still here? Not seen his name anywhere. He might have looked decent vs Crewe in one game, but so did Frimpong last season against Millwall was it? And Carl Barrowclough for 10 minutes once.

I'm not a fan of loanees, not really. I'd rather we didn't bother. But if it's all we can do, then it's all we can do. I'm sure that had we a decent young winger coming through, Danny would pick him. He's picked enough kids so far.

It's all about getting to the summer now, but in good spirits, good momentum etc. However, if we win tomorrow folk'll mention the P word. Until we lose at Swindon and the R word appears.

    Patience.

These loan signings are possibly to bridge the gap ready for crynes dream team next year when most of the squad are home grown talent thus taking us to another year or two in this division so that in our 3 year in the ale house league we field a full squad of home grown boys that then storms in to the championship back to back promotion sees the promise land taken by another storm that also wins both cups and the premier league title in our first year back. Followed by the champions league the following year.......

    dare to dream......

dont blame me .......cryne started it lol....
