John Ryan very complimentary of us earlier on dee darr

    Just caught a few minutes as I was in car. He was being interviewed by his love child Seth (allegedly)
    He wished Patrick Cryne a speedy recovery and generally praised the way the club operate.
    He said Donny can't go the same way as in How Keith Hill has recruited and rebuilt on a tighter budget because of how the contracts are with their current players??

    He also said that the new players recruited and those to be recruited would be on less money than 90% of their first team squad.
    This Willie Mackay has 2 sons in their youth set up.
    Thats about all I heard.

    Why shouldn't John Ryan say good things about us.....we have no problems with Donny

    ..........although in saying that some Donny fans think that we are their rivals.........we ain't !!!
    Their rivals, are exactly the same as our rivals...........Leeds and both of the Sheffield clubs................end of

    Of course Donny are our rivals they're the only other S. Yorks club in the division.

    Also Ryan has said plenty of things about us in the past which have'nt been complimentary.

    Donny are more our Rivals than both Dee Darrs are at the moment. League 1 anyone.

    I wish he would leave us out of his silly comments, he always seems to start his interviews these days with "us & Barnsley" leave us out of your silly outspoken views.

    His interview basically said he's going sh*t or bust for the Premiership this season because they can't sustain a Championship club on the gates they are getting, the £3-£4 million loss they have each year and eventually struggling each season they will go down. He then tried to tell the Pikey supporters that the full back IIunga from West Ham, who was last year playing in the Premiership and Pascal Chimbonda we earning less money at the club than the likes of George Friend, Mustafa Dumbaya, Gary Woods, Adam Lockwood etc.....only the pikey fans would believe him....

    They broke a 5k a week salary cap to sign Sharp so West Ham would have to be paying nearly 90% of the wage if he's on less than the majority of the current squad, as Ryan stated.

    Could be bucket time next season.
