Interview with John Stones on BBC at 12.10 according to BBC Breakfast. Trailer shows him saying he has the ambition to become England Captain. Suppose we will have to refer to him as FEC from now on?
Saw this trailed on BBC sports website this morning, but then the text said full interview on 31st Jan so thought I'd missed it. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/31150891
He has every right to think he can be England captain. Obviously he's the only premier league centre half I give any attention to, but it's ridiculous how good he actually is. I thought he was special when we had him, but to watch him against seasoned pro's in the premier league, he's a class above. I have no doubt he's a future Everton captain and should be England captain within the next few years
He spoke to Guardian too http://www.theguardian.com/football...l-john-stones-merseyside-derby-premier-league
Best player there has been down at Jokewell for donkeys years.....even better than Buttercup! In fact most of the others have indeed been donkeys. Hth
Opening feature on Footy Focus. Filmed at one of the many community projects he's involved in - Safe Hands helps young offenders reintegrate into the community. God lad, John.
