With Steve Crossland from Radio Deedar is interesting. Grew up watching El Classico on telly, Pique et al. Crossland got the old "teams like Barnsley" in there, of course. Wonder if he'd think the same if Stones came through at Wenzdi or Yani'ed?
'teams like Barnsley' is and always has been lazy, insulting and patronising. Why not just say 'Barnsley'. Would be same if I was a Rochdale, York or Southend fan. Or indeed a Chelsea fan.
Our fans, to be fair, are always saying 'teams like...' I.e we should be beating teams like Lincoln. Perhaps its just a natural saying these days mate...
