    Absolutely over the moon for him. If he gets regular game time this season I wouldn't bet against him going to The World Cup next summer.

    pleased for the lad. hopefully becoming the top class player we thought he could be. if it's any consolation, i think diggers could be even better. just hope he doesn't end up plagued with injury. he'll be worth double what we sold him for, by the end of the season...this much we also knew. fortunately, we negotiated solid add ons and sell-on clauses...

    Fantastic news for him, he really is showing the talent we thought he had. Hopefully it means more money in add ons if he continues and plays for Everton/England.

    ... to make the total fee up to £3million, I bet. I reckon that will be the max. potential fee but doubt we'll have got that upfront.

    Ahh well, new era and that, and chuffed for Stones that he's doing well. If Digby ends up attracting similar interest, hopefully a deal that benefits Barnsley in terms of timing and fee will be arranged.
