I mentioned the other day he's got a great chance of making the World Cup this year ..... Better than Glen Johnson (IMO) at left back & gives additional cover for Woy as a centre back!!
i think he's been starting for a while now, hasn't he? best £3m they will ever spend. if he keeps improving at the rate he is, he'll be worth £30m within 3-4 years
Didn't realise he's played the full 90 mins in the last 5 games, missed the two before that then had a 70 mins & a 90 mins. Roy was there today too, probably watching Ross Barkley, but who knows?
The England managers full well aware of him. When Both the u21's and Full team are at St Georges Park then he trains with the full team. Can't be many u23 players in Europe better than him at centre back. Class act
Johnson is a RB as was Stones, he now looks a natural CB. I would take him to the WC as a CB, better option than Jones or Smalling and could be used at RB if needs be. He'll be a regular international soon, will always think of him as one of our players though. Would add a bit of extra attachment to the England team too.
We need to get Hemsy watching their games, going on the Evertonfans board and pointing out Stones & Martinezs' shortcomings. .. That'll show them toffee eaters!!!!!!
Why would I do that. John Stones is a top top young talent. Loved watching him on play in the u18's and reserves then the first team.
Absolutely no chance of going to World Cup, take the blinkers off. He was steady today didn't have much to do. Class player but get a grip.
Can't really see that but he is a prospect. Probably played around a dozen times this season and regularly gets 6 or 7 rating.
good premiership young prospect - left us , move on , I still look back to the Bobby Doyle years -it never happened
I would not be surprised if he went to Brazil. We hardly have a wealth of centre backs to pick from and he is the only one who can carry the ball 30/40 yards out of defence. He has played the last 8 games for the u21s so he is in Hodgson's sights.
