City at 42m, Everton want 50m. Sounds like they will meet in the middle and the deal will get done so we should be in line for about 6.75million.
I thought they'd said they wouldn't even sit down for less than 50? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've an uneasy feeling this transfer will go down to deadline day or maybe even fall through. With the new TV money and Everton's new investor, Everton can play hard ball til Man City acquiesce.
He'll go for close to 50 million. Everton in a strong bargaining position. We probably won't buy many more players before start of the season. Maybe another season long loan in defence? Some of that money may be used after Chrimbo ... and of course we have the new scoreboard to pay for.
My wife heard a 5-live comment on radio this evening quotinfg it as a "done and dusted" deal for 50million. --- A new article has appeared on the BBC football website saying they are very close to a deal, but not quite confirming it. "A deal is yet to be agreed but it is thought the two Premier League clubs are not far apart in their valuations." is the most encouyraging quote. I think the deal will be done by Friday.
