So Suarez gets an 8 game ban but Terry gets a 4 game ban for the same offence - how exactly does that work

And how does that fit with if I had used the words Terry used whilst watching a game and was charged I would be banned from the ground for a very long time - years rather than weeks

Rio Ferdinand said something on Twitter along the lines of, "Joey Barton gets 12 game ban and shipped off to Marseille, while you know who gets a 4 week holiday"

Do not compare racist scum such as Terry with Ferdinand
Read below about the piece of scum that is Terry , saya a lot about one or two on here who say they want him to captain our country !

In September 2001, Terry and three teammates were fined two weeks' wages by Chelsea for an incident involving players and American tourists at a Heathrow airport bar in the immediate aftermath of the 11 September attacks.[69][70][71][72] In January 2002 Terry, Chelsea team mate Jody Morris and Des Byrne of Wimbledon were charged with assault and affray after a confrontation with a nightclub bouncer. Terry was banned from selection for the England team for the duration of the case, though he was ultimately cleared of all charges.[73][74][75][76] In the same month, Terry was fined £60 for parking his Bentley in a disabled bay.[77] In 2009, Terry was investigated by Chelsea and the FA for allegedly taking money from an undercover reporter for a private tour of Chelsea's training ground.[78][79] The club responded that it was "confident that at no time did Terry ask for or accept money in relation to visits to the training ground."[80]

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

He admitted in court to using racially offensive language. The FA have a directive to stamp it out. They have every right to act.

Why did the FA treat John Terry more leniently than Luis Suárez?

Because what Suarez did was far far worse

Terry should be banned for longer, Suarez should be banned for life.

Cause Suarez is South American, does that make the FA racist?

No court in the land would ever have convicted chris morgan of assault but I think all Barnsley fans still wanted him banning for what he did.

OJ simpson was cleared in court but found guilty in a civil court.

Whilst my original post doesn't point it out, I was warming up to say how inconsistent the fa are. They do what they want, when they feel like it, and at different levels depending what side of the bed they got out of. But irrespective of what they have given him, if I was cleared in court for something connected to work, and then work decided they would discipline me anyway, I would be outrageously ****ed off. I'm not defending what he supposedly did, ill make that clear, but I won't stand down on the law/fa point one bit.

The FA have fined and banned him for *repeating* racially offensive language. They have not shown him to have used those words outright. So presumably they should charge Ferdinand with the same thing? Of course in my opinion he wasn't repeating it at all, but a court of law judgement clearing him makes the fa ruling look complete sloblox
