that was sickening to watch hope the oxygen and head brace stuff is just a precaution as it often is in these cases

gone to hospital then apparantly awake but not remembering much. dont think anyone would remember much
RE: that was sickening to watch As Zadok says, it was really good to see both physios helping. Agreed that it was very tense stuff to watch
Sounds bad swallowed his tongue no short term memory recall Whiplash/neck injury and concussion at least by the sound of it Poor sod had no luck recently wi back, ligaments earlier in the week & now this. Hope he's recovered for England qualifier
Behaviour......... like what's just happened on the streets would have resulted in arrests. But pro football players can do what they do and get away without the criminal record. One rule for one and one for another.
Look At......... the sendings off and all the afters. If that sort of behaviour had happened with normal people outside a nightclub for example. Then the police would have been involved and arrests made. Another example of the rich and famous sport stars playing by another rule. Just how many fines for improper conduct can London teams get before the punishment gets more severe ?
We dont want the police getting involved with matters on the pitch. Its sport and allowances should be made.
Hey?! I think in context to what you might see in town on a Saturday night it wasn't much. The 2 players that started it got sent off....the rest kicked off when Lampard got involved.
There was a very good article in a recent issue of When Saturday Comes about this subject. Of course there are instances that happen in sport that if they happened in the street would result in charges, it's all about at what point does it go beyond what might be expected within the sport.
