Why would anyone want him out at this point we have just won our 5th league game on the spin more or less safe from relegation top of the form table and looking up the league now. Like jc says review at end of season minimum.
Whatever happens it's not the time to make a change at the moment and Lee and the team deserve our support. I'm sure like all managers Johnson has KPIs to hit and that these will be reviewed at seasons end. I might even have forgiven him for Altrincham by then.
Time to forget the past and look forwards All right now - Lee Jay he's all right now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siMFORx8uO8
I'm still undecided , would stick with him for now but is he the man to take us back up ,I'm not so sure , hopefully we get the right players in , win the JPT and have a crack at 6th spot . Let's hope Rochdale wasn't the season highlight
My view hasn't changed (much) Lee Johnson IN...............because I've argued that swapping and changing managers is counter productive........but that was at the start of the season..............never once thinking that we could be anywhere near the relegation zone So that was before Lee took us near to relegation..........and if we go anywhere near there again he needs to be sacked ASAP in good time for someone else to come in and keep the club away from the 4th division. But as things stand it looks like he - AND THE DIRECTORS - have had a slight change of direction by employing a few older and more experienced players that have instilled confidence into the young uns........thank foooook for that !!! Am able to sleep at neet narr
I cant really argue with the current run of results but I think keeping him on is still delaying the inevitable. I will never have full confidence in him. Imagine us in a really big game, say Play Off Final for instance (even though we've no hope). Would you think, yeh we'll do these today, LJ's got this under control and if not he'll change the game in our favour? I'd be more thinking 'I hope he doesnt **** this up for us'. That win today has got me back on side. I have been against Johnson since we got beat away at Southend back in October and despite this upturn in form before tonight, I still didn't want him to be the manager of Barnsley Football Club. Tonight with the heart and effort put on display alongside the five wins on the bounce, I feel we have turned the corner and I'm back on side. Fickle as I am.
Give him until the end of the season. I'm still not a fan of his regardless of our recent good run. Soz.
Your constant screaming of nonsense reminds me of that fat slob who used to stand in the tarn center promoting the BNP, pathetic but also quite comical.
I wonder what opinions would be had our excellent and horrible form panned out into some more average performances that left us in the same league position? I'd guess most would be a bit disappointed but we'd have not had the same clamour for his resignation. Fact is they are playing well and wining games. The next guy might win game, he might not - something those wanting to sack mangers can';t seem to grasp, and part of the season we've been through so many.
