Starting formation and substitutions cost us the game. Now please don't come out on the radio and talk like you're the manager of Barcelona.
Playing his pal at left back & refuses to drop him, reminds me of Flitcroft playing his mate Mike Pollitt
Totally agree, but just listened to his interview on Radio Sheffield....He clearly didn't think that was the case and when asked about lessons learnt he only referred to lessons the players need to learn!
4-4-2/3-5-2/0-0-10 were playing Shrewsbury at home, any besides what he started with today. Not switch it after 60 mins and take off your most effective players in the process. Did you think his tactics were spot on?
He's too scared of losing, which he did lose today because of his negative tactics, played for the draw and got beaten in the last minute. He can't complain, his own making.
What do you reckon it is? Because I witnessed some very skilful individuals today that aren't correctly managed.
The most boring and non adventurous manager I can ever remember and as I said the other day, has SO much to prove. He's been getting far too easy a ride so far for what he's given back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think going 4-4-2 cost us the game. I'm just curious what alternative you'd suggest to the formation we started with.
4-4-2 cost us the game, you fail to mention taking off the two most effective players whilst switching to 4-4-2. And starting with it is a completely different ball game.
Id suggest starting with 4-4-2 from the start and not changing to it only mid way through a game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I wonder what LJ said to the players at half time after all the chances we squandered in the first half which there was a few. What ever it was the players did not deliver. Fair play to Shrewsbury who continued to attack us in the second have and clearly didn't play for the draw. L.J needs to sort it out ready for Swindon next Sat.
Even if he'd got the tactics wrong to start with we were going in level, why made those subs, I would have put my house on us at half time.
