    According to LJ's statement. Weird. If he wanted to see us at Wembley he shouldn't have walked out on us.

    Patrick learning from his mistakes i believe. He didn't allow Andy Ritchie to speak to Wednesday and having a manager who resented that didn't work out well for anyone in the end.

    On the other hand Gally a previous administration allowed Danny (Mk 1) to speak to Wednesday and it worked out badly for Danny and for us. I still find it odd we put up so little fight to keep Johnson. It feels like everything at the club is transient.

    Thought they stated there was a release clause?
    If true and they are a coach or any player....... there's very little anyone can do if they want to leave.

    Seems like a cracking gesture from Mr Cryne to me. In fact, the way both he and the club have conducted themselves throughout this entire sage has impressed me greatly and it makes me feel very proud to be a Barnsley fan.

    Fully agree. I don't know why there is bitterness, anger and negativity towards LJ. Good look to the bloke. I don't think he could have tackled this situation anymore professional than he has. Same can be said about the club too.

    Bang on. We've dealt with this superbly, kept it under our hats until after the JPT then let him get on with it. Quickly turned around, the statements have been extremely good and I like the way we removed the doubt about Sunday's game by quickly announcing that PH and TW would take the game whatever happened. It's clear that Cryne and LJ got on well, but Johnson couldn't turn this offer down and I don't blame him, although I think he would have been better sticking with us whilst he had it going well.
