But while United's board of directors await news of whether Kenny will launch an appeal, his team mates have resolved to remain constantly in touch to prevent the 31-year-old feeling isolated from events at Bramall Lane. The plan was devised the morning after the Football Association's Regulatory Commission handed down the punishment despite accepting Kenny's explanation about how irregular levels of ephedrine - a banned stimulant under the governing body's doping code - found its way into his system. The former Republic of Ireland international argued that an over-the-counter chest remedy, taken in addition to medicine already being prescribed by the club's medical staff, was the source of the breach and is meeting with his legal representatives before deciding whether to contest a verdict which effectively rules him out for the remainder of the campaign. Although senior officials at United have steadfastly refused to comment on the situation, the outcome of those talks are likely to bear great influence over their next course of action. Kenny, who remains on the payroll despite being suspended by his employers when the results of his test became known, is out of contract in the summer after failing to agree a new deal before Kevin Blackwell's side qualified May's play-off final at Wembley. Blackwell revealed Kenny is "distraught" at the prospect of being declared ineligible for selection until April but the determination of the United's manager's squad to demonstrate their backing is expected to provide some comfort

Is that for real ? F.CK YOU UNITED. F.CK YOU BLACKWELL, F.CK YOU MORGAN.
We had a bloke in hospital who may have never played again and they've got a fat **** who is on holiday for 9 months through his own stupidity.
witnosenseofironyatallart

IMO he deserves all he gets Okay i'm not fully aware of the whole situation but from reading on here (which is dangerous i know) and from what i heard on Dee Dah FM, Paddy Kenny knew tht there as a banned substance in this cough medicine he took, and in his defense he said 'i'm a bit thick'. If he can't accept his punishment then he shouldn't have taken whatever it was in the first place. Rio Ferdinand got banned for longer (i think) for missing a drugs test, rightly or wrongly he was never found out as a drugs cheat, Paddy Kenny has been, bans were given to Abel Xavier and Adriana Mutu for drug use, so why should Paddy Kenny be excused for 'being a bit thick'. But it's sheffield United, they'll probably get off anyway, i'm sure Kevin McCabe's sleeping with someone at the FA.
RE: Is that for real ? Well said that man. I think this sums up the feelings of most Barnsley fans. (Y)
How about a new plan, if they appeal, and he is found guilty on appeal, sheff utd have to play with 10 men for 10 games?
Where is the one for Preston They lost to a Team who had a player that has been proven to have taken Drugs. As a consequence they have missed out on the chance to get in the premiership. They Should sue the Blunts, I would say a fair reward would be around 30 million pounds
You'll be asking us to help with Morg's damaged elbow - physio fund next Sorry but zero sympathy from me.
RE: Where is the one for Preston If the roles were reversed, its an absolute certainty that Sheff U would be suing Preston. Dirty cheating scum, deserve all they get, just a shame it wasn't Morgan.
RE: Where is the one for Preston ONE CARLOS TEVEZ THERE'S ONLY ONE CARLOS TEEEEVEEZ lovely lolly. They don't have our lawyers, and the sense of justice on their side.
